How you see it

The Mead’s William Green Study Room gives visitors to the museum the unique experience of seeing any object from the collection that isn’t already on view in the museum galleries. This means that any object you see on this blog can also be seen up close and personal in this bright and spacious viewing room:

Simply visit the Mead’s website to make an appointment. The Mead Art Museum and the William Green Study Room are located on the Amherst College campus in Amherst, Massachusetts.

  1. Hmm…I think I know that person in these photos.

    I very much miss the Study Room. It was a wonderful place to work and I certainly learned a lot there. If you are interested in any aspect of the collection, by all means make an appointment!
